Sue has practiced law for over 32 years, primarily in the field of family law. Sue was a trial lawyer for 12 years, and has extensive experience handling jury trials in both commercial and family law litigation matters. While practicing in Texas, Sue received a specialization in family law from the state of Texas Board of Legal Certification. Sue also taught family law and marital property law as an adjunct professor of law at Baylor University.

Sue also has served on numerous community and professional boards servicing social, family, and youth groups in the states of Washington and Texas.
